Due to a water service disruption on Oct. 12, 2022, Tybee Island remains under a BOIL WATER ADVISORY until further notice. This advisory is voluntary. The health department has instituted additional, mandatory safety measures for restaurants, which has caused some restaurants to decide to close. The city is required to test water samples for 24 hours. The last test will be performed this evening. We will have an additional update at that time.
