Due to ongoing emergency sewer work on Jones Avenue, that street will be closed to traffic throughout the weekend. A detour has been set up for golf carts needing to cross U.S. 80.
Northbound golf carts will turn east on 2nd Street to 2nd Avenue and then turn left and head north on 2nd Avenue to U.S. 80. Carts will then turn left, head west on U.S. 80 and drive in the parking lane which is blocked off to Jones Avenue. They can then cross U.S. 80 with the traffic signal.
Southbound golf carts will use the traffic signal and turn left onto U.S. 80 at Jones Avenue and head east in the traffic lane to 2nd Avenue. They will turn right on 2nd Avenue and head south to 2nd Street. At 2nd Street they will turn right and head west to Jones Avenue.
