[ARCHIVED] Mosquito Spraying to Take Place Wednesday, before sunset

From Chatham Mosquito Control:
Pending weather conditions Chatham County Mosquito Control’s aircraft are scheduled to treat the midtown/downtown area of Savannah and Thunderbolt area, west of the Wilmington River and north of DeRenne Avenue, and portions of Garden City north of US 80 prior to sunset on Tuesday, September 10.

In addition, our aircraft are also scheduled to treat the islands east of the Wilmington River and portions of Skidaway Island, including Modena Island, Burnside Island, Isle of Armstrong, Dutch Island, Oatland Island, Whitemarsh Island, Elba Island, Talahi Island, Wilmington Island, Fort Pulaski, and Tybee Island before sunset on Wednesday, September 11.

Residents can expect to see low flying yellow aircraft.
