62 hazard mitigation grant packets were submitted either to us at City Hall or sent directly to our consultant, FC McColm. FC McColm has already begun preparing the pre-application and the full application for the substantially damaged and repetitive loss properties. We are optimistic that we will be able to elevate more properties as the process goes forward. If any other folks whose homes are below base flood elevation would like to submit a packet, we can still pass those on for potential future consideration as funds are made available.
The packet with the latest documentation requirements is available at City Hall in the Planning and Zoning Department, via an email request to gshaw@cityoftybee.org, or you may download the HMGP packet from our WebLink.
