ROAD PAVING UPDATE:
Due to heavy traffic on the south end of Tybee, the paving contractor will temporarily halt work on Strand and Butler and begin milling and paving 2nd Street between Jones Avenue and Miller Avenue through Thursday (5/27). The roadway will be open to local traffic but there will be lane restrictions. They will also be patching a storm sewer trench on 5th Avenue south of 2nd Avenue.
Beginning Tuesday (5/31), paving work will resume on 17th Street between Strand Avenue and Butler Avenue.
