At this time Tybee has no plans to issue a mask mandate.
We will continue to monitor data and encourage our residents, businesses and visitors to get vaccinated and mask up when asked to do so. Please respect people's space where appropriate by maintaining a 6-foot distance and wash/sanitize hands often.
Enforcement of a mask mandate is difficult for our officers. However, when necessary, the city can provide face masks to residents and to businesses for staff.
