Discover the marine life of the intertidal zone through seining. Pull a ten-foot seine net through waist deep water to catch, examine, and release marine life. Commonly caught organisms include pompanos, silversides, mullets, sea jellies, and crabs. After seining, we’ll explore the marine life of the sandy bottom by sifting various organisms from the wet sand on the beach. Recommended for participants nine years and older.

What could be more fun than Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis in wigs and dresses swooning over the blond bombshell herself, Marilyn Monroe!
In this clack-and-white Billy Wilder classic, Curtis and Lemmon play two ragtag musicians scraping to make ends meet in Prohibition-era Chicago, who accidentally eyewitness a major gangland rubout. Barely escaping with their lives, our panicky twosome is forced to take it on the lam. Scared out of their shoes, the boys don heels and dresses after they connect with an all-girl orchestra tour, with a sizzling singer, headed for sunny Florida.
We’re celebrating this romantic comedy’s 60th anniversary, with a rare theatrical screening! So gather your gal pals and join us! Your first chardonnay is on us!
