  3. Alice in Wonderland, the stage play

    May 10, 2019, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Tybee Post Theater

Our Youth Theatre Ensemble is back with its always popular Spring theatrical production. This season they present a charmingly clever and selective dramatization of Lewis Carroll's two classics by playwright Michele Vacca, this fast-paced production has something for everyone. The role of the narrator was originally written for and played by the late Hans Conried (The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, the voice of Snidely Whiplash, etc.). The imaginative staging and immersive nature of this show is sure to be a hit with young and old alike. Having someone threaten you with the phrase "Off with his head!" has never been so much fun! The Family Education for Christ (FEFC) youth theatre group debuted in 2016 at the Post, and has staged five previous productions with a focus on classical literature favorites, including A Christmas Carol and The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe.
