On a marsh trek, you’ll enjoy a hands-on exploration of Georgia’s salt marsh, searching the mud for fiddler crabs, snails, and more. Learn about adaptations necessary for survival in this environment, how the marsh functions as a nursery for many organisms, a filter for pollutants, and as an abundant food source. Please wear closed-toed, closed-heel shoes, such as rain boots or old tennis shoes (no flip flops or Crocs) and expect to get muddy. Marsh Treks meet off-site, on the north end of the island at Spanish Hammock. Directions are provided with paid program confirmation.

Fine Payment: Traffic and local ordinance fines may be paid at the TIPD. We accept cash, money order, credit/debit cards, and cashier's checks. We do not accept personal checks. If the fine is not paid beforehand, defendant must appear in court at time and date shown on traffic citation or subpoena. Tybee Island Municipal Court has recently enabled online traffic ticket payment at https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/tybeeislandpdga. This site can only be used to pay police-issued citations online. If your citation requires a personal court appearance, you will be unable to pay online, and you will need to be present at the Court date on your citation. Parking ticket online is still done through the "Pay Parking Tickets" link under Online Payments to the left on each page.
