Our island has made great progress since Hurricane Matthew and residents should have a forum to celebrate. I suggest we have a gathering at a local venue/park at the one year anniversary of Matthew and have it hosted by the restaurants on our island (for food and beverages). The city should fund an entertainment budget to go with it such as music and a visual display showing the transformation from before to after the hurricane.
