Attention Tybee Island Residents and Visitors: The Orange Crush Festival will to return to Tybee Island the weekend of April 18 to 20, 2025, with the main beach event scheduled for Saturday, April 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The city has also mandated that the main festival activities on Tybee Island be confined to a single day, Saturday, April 19, to minimize disruptions. Events on Friday and Sunday will take place at private venues at off-island areas. Residents and visitors should anticipate increased traffic, limited parking availability, and a heightened presence of first responders throughout the weekend.
Regulations Effective 4/15 - 4/20:
 An emergency lane will be designated down U.S. HWY 80 for First Responder use ONLY. Do not ride bikes down this lane.
 Barricade Information and Road Closures:  Residential side street entrances on the western side of Butler Avenue will be closed beginning at Lovell Avenue down to Inlet Avenue as early as the evening of Thursday 4/17/25, through the afternoon of Sunday 4/20/25.  Access to Lewis Avenue, Miller Avenue, Second Avenue, and Lovell will be blocked from the HWY 80 entrance early as the evening of Thursday 4/17/25, through the afternoon of Sunday 4/20/25.  No turns East onto 14th, 15th, or Tybrisa Street from Butler Avenue (Residents: Eastbound access available on 14th and 15th Streets)
 Parking Information:  Limited on street parking on the South-End of island beginning as early as Tuesday, 4/15/25 starting at the curve.  On street parking in front of City Hall, Churches and TIMA will be available until the evening of Thursday, 4/17/25.  On street parking along Butler Ave. from 15th St. to Tybrisa St. will be open until the evening of Thursday, 4/17/25.  14th and 15th St. public parking lots will be closed to public beginning approx. 4/17/25.  16th St. public parking lot will be open for City of Tybee Island Decal ONLY beginning 8am, Friday, 4/18/25  Illegally parked cars will be towed to the 15th Street parking lot.
