Know Before You Go: Irish Heritage Parade Celebration!

Tybee Island is ready to go green! Join us for the Irish Heritage Parade on Saturday, March 15, at 3 PM! The parade will march down Butler Avenue to Strand Avenue, so plan ahead for road closures and extra traffic.

Road Closures & Traffic Protocols:

• No Parking along Butler Ave. from 14th St. to Tybrisa Street, and down Tybrisa St. after 3AM on Friday, 3/14.
• Butler Ave. & Tybrisa Street will be closed 30 minutes prior to parade start on Saturday, 3/15.
• The Parade route begins at City Hall, travels down Butler Ave. to Tybrisa St. and ends at the Round-a-Bout on Strand Ave. 

 Parade Day Tips:

• Arrive early to grab a good spot!
• Expect delays & use designated parking areas.
• Stay hydrated and wear sunscreen—it’s a long day of fun!
• Keep the island clean—use trash & recycling bins.
• Most importantly—if you plan to drink, plan a ride! Have a designated driver, use a rideshare, or take a cab. Let’s celebrate safely!
