Arbor Day on Tybee Island is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th, and beginning at 10am. We will begin at the Tybee Island Maritime Academy by planting two Japanese Maples and spreading mulch. From there, we’ll be meeting up with The Savannah Tree Foundation at the Sally Pearce Trail entrance (located on Hwy 80 in the parking lot where the 24 hr urgent care and veterinary clinics were located). There, we will be planting three River Birches and approximately a dozen Wax Myrtles. We will also have mulch to spread, and Ga. Power will be providing free tree seedlings as giveaways to participants.

After months have passed without a culprit in her daughter's murder case, Mildred Hayes (Golden Globe winner Frances McDormand) makes a bold move, painting three signs leading into her town with a controversial message directed at William Willoughby, the town's revered chief of police. When his second-in-command, Officer Dixon -- an immature mother's boy with a penchant for violence -- gets involved, the battle is only exacerbated.
