City Council Meeting Schedule

City Council usually meets in the City Hall Auditorium on the second and fourth Thursday of each month, with the Consent Agenda meeting beginning at 6:30pm, followed by the City Council Meeting at 7pm and running until business is complete. There are some exceptions for certain holidays, and locations and times may change for certain circumstances.

If you have an issue you would like to bring up before Council, download the Council Agenda Item Request form, from Downloads>Forms under General Forms, and return it to the City Clerk via mail at the address at left, via email, or fax it to 786-5737.

Meetings begin with a Consent Agenda Meeting at 6:30.

The formal meeting convenes at 7pm and runs until all business is complete.

The Council may go into Executive Session (non-public), usually prior to the Consent Agenda, between the two scheduled portions of the meeting, or following the full meeting.

Citizens wishing to speak on items already listed on the agenda should do so during the ‘Citizens To Be Heard’ section. Citizens wishing to place items on the Council meeting agenda must submit an agenda request form to the Clerk of Council’s office by Wednesday at noon, eight days prior to the scheduled meeting. You may request to be on the Agenda of the City Council Meeting by filing this downloadable form with the City Clerk. The form is also available to fill in and file online without having to print a copy out or come into City Hall.    - The most recent Council meeting is run eight times a week on Comcast Cable Access Channel 7. Program schedule is available here.
   - Since 2005, DVDs of council meetings are available for a $10 charge. Call the Cashier at City Hall extension 102 and ask for a copy, by date. DVDs will be available for pickup within 24 hours. (Be aware that availability is not guaranteed! Although we will attempt to create as complete a recording as possible in all cases, technical difficulties during some meetings may reduce availability - some meetings may be unavailable, and some may not be complete.)
