City Manager

Mission Statement

The City Manager reports to the City Council and the Mayor, implements the directives and actions of the City Council and is responsible for the daily operations of the City. The City Manager is to provide guidance and information to the City Council, provide resources to the city staff, administers the business affairs of the City and acts as a conduit for information between individuals, departments and officials.
The search for a new City Manager is under way by a committee of City Council members. The Interim City Manager is George Shaw, head of Planning, Zoning and Community Development.
