Public Safety Committee

The Public Safety Committee is comprised of the City Manager, representatives from City Council, and the Fire Chief, Police Chief, Tybee Emergency Management Administrator, and other City employees as need for consultation. Typically meeting prior to the second City Council meeting of each month, matters relating to public safety, major events, and emergency planning are discussed here with recommendations provided to Council for next steps as needed.
